(note - ninja figure is only shown to give an idea of the tank's size)

Kaitain - the heaven shaker. Traditional vehicles have proved to be unsuited to the demands of fighting on the activated Cyberian steppe and in the ruins of Neo Toyko. Therefore more ingenious solutions to the problem of providing heavy fire support have had to be sought, the Kaitain is one of these solutions.

The Kaitain mecha-tank is a fully articulated, AI controlled warbot. The body, turret and legs are studded with thermal imaging micro-cameras providing the AI targeting system with a 360 degree field of view. The turret mounts an eight barrelled, gatling configured, laser octa-gun. Designed to defeat an enemy by sheer volume of fire power. Either side of this are fire & forget air/land destructor missiles. The four "eyes" are actually a bank of short range microwave cone emitters.

The tank is capable of scaling any vertical surface that can support its weight, on the tip of each leg is a sonic drill that allows the leg to dig in and gain purchase. The tank cannot spin webs, instead its web-spinner fires a grapple that can be used to anchor the tank on an unstable surface, or it can be used as a winch. The Kaitain is also amphibious, in that it can walk across the bottom of a river and lurk there waiting for a target. However, at least its turret must be above water to fire. On the battlefield Kaitains are frequently escorted by Rising Sun Manitou, they are used to charge through and disrupt CDC wave attacks, paying particular attention to the elimination of enemy robotic forces, tanks and strongpoints.

Approximate dimensions of the model:

Length:    7cm

Leg Span:    9cm

Height:    4cm to top of turret

Best way to fit together:    On a flat surface rest the body on two normal sized six sided dice (front and rear) then (carefully) using super-glue fix legs into desired positions. When the legs are set, glue on the turret and gun.
