CDC 3 Red Banner Manitou (Man Intensification Unit)
Manitou are the strike rangers of the CDC. They wear heavy powered armour capable of withstanding an attack that would liquidate a normal trooper. The armour provides the wearer with complete all environment (including vacuum) protection and, when jacked into the suit, the wearer can control its functions mentally. Manitou carry a phased high wattage plasma rifle powered by an on board energy pack and have shoulder mounted micro-missile launchers for area suppression. The suit is fitted with a jump jet pack allowing the wearer to "leap" huge distances in a single bound.
