Of all the men who have led the Death Commandos no one is more celebrated than Comrade Commander Vortan. Known as the Scourge of the Steppes, it was he who masterminded the assault of Neo Tokyo.

Kang is the most feared of all the Great Khan's Commissars. Horribly disfigured is an explosion he wears his famed black leather mask to hide his features. It is said that those who see his real face are driven mad by what they behold. He is known as the Fist of the Eastern Star.
